CRIST HEARS FROM PINELLAS RESIDENTS AT THREE HOUR TOWN HALL
Today, Congressman Charlie Crist (D-St. Petersburg) held his fourth town hall for Pinellas constituents. Originally scheduled to end at noon, Crist stayed for over three hours to answer questions and hear community concerns firsthand from constituents who filled the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg. "It was an honor to spend the day with my Pinellas neighbors, discussing the issues impacting our community," said Crist. "This is what democracy is all about, elected officials updating the people – our bosses – on our work on their behalf and providing a forum to hear firsthand the concerns, questions, and needs of constituents to then be their voice and advocate in Congress. I carry the comments from each and every person I hear from with me as I continue working on behalf of Pinellas County." |
