The United States-Israel Joint Drone Detection Cooperation Act introduced by U.S. Representatives Charlie Crist (D-FL) and Mike Johnson (R-LA) was included in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), major legislation directing the United States' national security priorities, which is expected to be considered by the House next week. The Crist-Johnson proposal establishes a strategic partnership between the United States and Israel to combat drone attacks from Iran and other adversaries.

In addition to it being incorporated into the NDAA, the bipartisan proposal was also included in a larger U.S.-Israel security package passed last week by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Its inclusion in these major legislative packages will solidify this strategic partnership in both U.S. national security and foreign policies.

"To see our bipartisan proposal continue to receive broad support and swiftly move through Congress speaks to the urgent need to address the growing threat of drone attacks to U.S. and Israeli security," said Crist.
