Congressman Charlie Crist (D-St. Petersburg) took to the House floor last night to voice his strong opposition to Republican legislation repealing the Affordable Care Act, instead calling for his colleagues to work together to improve the healthcare system. The Republicans' bill would result in millions of Americans losing their coverage, the removal of key protections for seniors and those with pre-existing conditions, and higher premiums, deductibles, and copays for working families and older Americans.
